I’m very glad that you made it this far and are taking the time to learn a little bit more about our church.  I am Maria and serve as a certified lay speaker and am the president of the Women’s Group. 

If you are not already a member of a church then this is a big step and I appreciate that.  Sometimes churches can seem confusing and cold.  I assure you that this is not the case with Salem.  Being a small church we have a family atmosphere.  You will always find someone who is interested in you and what you are up to.  If you don’t known about Jesus Christ then we will help you understand what he has done in our lives and what he can do in yours.  Trust me, the peace, joy, and love that you will feel is truly amazing and life changing.  Jesus makes this love available to everyone regardless of what you have done in the past so there is no reason to be shy about coming in.  Many people feel that they are not worthy of Christ’s love, but this is not the case.  Jesus loved you before you were born and is just waiting for you to love him back.


If you are a Christian and are looking for a new or more convenient church then I really hope that you will give us a try.  I know that making a decision about a church can seem like a daunting chore.  There are so many churches to choose from that many people give up looking all together.  We at Salem have a unique advantage.  We are a small church so you get a family atmosphere, but we are part of the larger Methodist church so have access to resources and oversight that a larger church would have.  Being small does not mean that we are inactive.  Just take a look at our photo page for to see what we have been up to and you will see how busy we can be.  I really hope that you will stop by and give us a chance to show you our love.
