Hi, I'm Gail Dietze, the Pastor here at Salem. God has truly blessed me through the years. I discovered God’s calling in my life when I was fourteen years of age. I gave God my heart, my soul, my hands, and my feet. I have always had a servant heart which is why I always wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. I decided to be a wife and mother. I have a loving and wonderful husband, Dan. We have five children: Tim, Matt, Andy, Matthew, and Nikki. We have eight grandchildren with another one on the way. Three of our children live nearby, one lives in Georgia, and one lives in Florida. We have three dogs: Hugs, Kisses, and Sage. Hugs is a black lab, Kisses is a small (because she was abused when she was a puppy) yellow lab, and Sage is a yellow lab. They love to find moles and voles in our yard which means some holes are quite deep. Fall is my favorite season with the beautiful colors, which remind me of God’s majesty. I love the wind. I was named after the gale winds. I love to be outside in the wind and have the wind blow on my face. I feel the presence of God so much when I stand in the wind and listen I attend Duke Divinity School. I have enjoyed this. I have met many loving and encouraging people. This has been an awesome time in my life. One can never learn enough about our Lord and Savior. I want to convey to people the love and joy of knowing Jesus. Dan and I are usually together unless we are at work. God, Dan, and I are a team in ministry together. We have a clown ministry and a puppet ministry. We pray at mealtimes; we pray at night; we pray throughout the day. We both will wake up in the middle of the night and start praying. God is so awesome. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
